ー from concrete to abstract,
from abstract to concrete ー
金沢大学では教育学と日本史を専攻。絵画や巻物といった文化芸術作品を史料として扱う「絵画史料論」を学び，『草の根歴史学の未来をどう作るか』（2020 文学通信）には，江戸時代の加賀，越中，能登を舞台とした奇談集「三州奇談」のエピソードを考察したレポートが収録されている。
大学卒業後，小学校で教員を勤め，翌年には発掘調査，さらに翌年からは高校で教員を勤め退職。様々な勉強をする中で，アートを自己表現の１つとして取り入れることを決め，書をツールとして作家活動をはじめる。線から伝わる情熱と繊細さは，ただ意味をもつ文字を書くのではなく，文字としての概念を越えた先に可能性を見出そうとしていることが伺える。文字を“描き書く”彼の作品は，具象と抽象の狭間を描いた，まるで絵画のような自由で楽しい書を描いている。
He went to Kanazawa University and majored in education (Japanese historical culture). He learned “Painting historical materials theory” that deal with Painting and Scroll. “Sansyu-kidan” is wrote phantom stories of Kaga, Etchu, Noto in the Edo period. His thoughts on it are included in “How to create the future of grassroots history”( 2020 Bungakutsushin)
After graduating from university, he worked as a teacher at an elementary school, the following year, as an archaeologist. And the following year, he worked as a teacher at a high school and retired. While studying various things, he decided to incorporate art as one of his self-expressions and started his career as an artist using calligraphy as a tool. It can be seen that the passion and delicacy transmitted from the lines is not just writing meaningful letters, but trying to find possibilities beyond the concept of letters. His artwork of “drawing and writing” is a free and enjoyable works that depicts between concrete and abstract, as if it were a painting.
言葉で伝えようとしても表現できない。幼い時から，自分の思いや考えを伝えることが苦手でした。同時に自分のことを理解することも苦手でした。私の作品は，私が私の心を知る手がかりになっています。自分の心が何を思い何を描きだすのか。私は自分の心を知るために言葉を描いています。絵のように，文字のような。
言葉（文字）は，具体的な何かを抽象化してできた記号です。長い歴史の中で，吸収や淘汰を繰り返し，洗練されて美しい今の形が作られました。今では多くの人の身近な存在になった一方で，文字自体が具象化してしまいました。ある文字を見ても，決められた意味だけ理解し，それ以上のものはイメージできない。私は言葉（文字）が持つ豊かなイメージを取り戻せないのかと思いました。書道は“白黒”の世界です。しかし，扱う言葉（文字）は違うと思います。１つの表現で様々な意味を持ち，１つの事柄を様々に表現することが言葉の豊かさであり，彩りであり，日本語の良さだと…。
言葉（文字）はコミュニケーションツールです。単に意味ではなく，みんながもつイメージ（印象）を伝え合うことが役割だと思います。
Even if I try to convey it in words, I can’t express it. From an early age, I was not good at communicating my thoughts. And, I was not good at understanding myself. My artwork is a clue to my heart. What does my heart think and what do I draw? I draw words to know my heart. Like a picture, like a letter.
Words (letters) are symbols made by abstracting something concrete. Throughout its long history, it has been repeatedly absorbed and culled to create a sophisticated and beautiful present shape. While it has become familiar to many people now, the characters themselves have become concrete. Even if you look at a certain character, you can understand only the fixed meaning and cannot imagine anything more than that. I wondered if I could regain the rich image of words (letters). Calligraphy is a “black and white” world. However, I think the words (letters) handled are different. One expression has various meanings, and expressing one thing in various ways is the richness, colorful, and goodness of Japanese.
Words (letters) are communication tools. I think it’s not just the meaning, but the role of communicating the images (impressions) that everyone has.

水面に描く書
雨の中，ふと目を落とすと，地面に水溜りができている。そこに雫が一つ，水面に点を打つ。点はやがて円となり，まもなく消えていく。雫が二つ，三つと続いた瞬間，円は点を囲み，花火のように水面を彩る。
雫にとって水面はキャンバスだ。
無数に点を描き，急くように次々と円で囲んでいく。その姿は，イタズラする子どもみたい。大人に見つかる前に，早くラクガキを完成させようとする。そんなイタズラ好きな子ども。
子どもだった頃，だれもが絵を描くことを楽しんでいた。でも，それは自分ではなく誰かを楽しませるためだったのかもしれない。誰かに見てもらいたくて，何かを伝えたくて。怒られるとわかっていながらするイタズラも，そこには笑っている誰かがいた。
もしかすると水面に落ちる雨の雫は，私たちを楽しませようとしている小人なのかもしれない。子どものように，水面にイタズラしている。
空からこぼれ落ちた雨の雫は，瞬く間に水面から消えてしまうけれど，手からこぼれ落ちた墨の雫が，紙から消える事は決してない。ただ一瞬の記憶が，そこには残されている。
私にとって紙こそ水面だ。
徒にイタズラ。私の手からこぼれ落ちた小人たちは，何を伝えてくれるのか。
存在する作品はリアルの世界にとどまることはない。撮影した作品をデジタル化した際，「本物には価値があって，デジタルには価値がない。でも，それだと作品が可哀想だから，デジタルの中で価値を生み出してあげよう」と思い，デジタルアートを制作。Miller（虚像） seriesと名づけたデジタル作品群は，リアルには存在しない作品である一方で，リアルの作品がなければ生まれなかった作品でもある。この作品群の存在は，オリジナルの価値も高める。
「 累 kasane 」は，花を描いた作品を集めた”花束”の作品である。複数の作品が重なることで広がる世界観を持つ。現代アートでよくみられる集合体（assemblage art など）は横に広がるのに対し，このシリーズは縦に連なる集合体である。
「 u-ni 」は「作品の中の宇宙（universe）」をテーマにした作品。「uni」はラテン語で「一」を表す。作品の”一部”を切り取ることでその魅力を焦点化させ，見る人の心に届きやすくし，オリジナルの価値を再認識させる。宇宙は果てしなく広がるが，ミクロの世界も果てしなく広がり，”同一”の世界が続いている。全ては連続し，全ては”一”である。ミクロとマクロを往還し，作品（オリジナル/実像）と作品（デジタル/虚像）を往還する。鏡に写る姿は虚像であるが，これらの作品の魅力も虚像なのだろうか。
現在，３つの花（華）を描いた作品「ハルカ」をもとに，「白 haku 」「水 sui 」「空 coo 」の3つがconceptの作品を展開。

We have a lot of words. There are different characters in Japanese even if they are the same word. We call “青” “ao” and the meaning is blue. However, “蒼” and “碧” are also called “ao”, and the meanings are blue.
The colors that Japanese people imagine when they hear the word “ao” vary from person to person. And the meanings of “蒼” and “碧” are slightly different. (“蒼” is like the color of green grass, and “碧” is like the color of green jasper.) Isn’t your country the same?
Words have become diverse throughout history. It is said that various things are “彩 irodori” that means colorful in Japanese. I would use colorful words…
Renaissance は古代ギリシアの文化を取り入れつつ表現することで，その魅力を再興し，中世封建社会の中で構築されたカトリック教会の形式的な世界から，個人すなわち人を再定義した。
古典作品に宿る魅力は，時空を超えて私たちのもとへ訪れる。しかし，作者の意図や当時の歴史といった，さらに奥に潜む魅力を読み取ることは難しい。学生時代の研究で得た「無意識の意図」という概念と共に，絵画というレコードの再生を図ることを意図した作品も展開する。

平仮名は丸くてやさしく，ほんわかした印象。「ひらがなRIBBON」はそんな平仮名の印象を覆す作品である。流線的なフォントデザインは，従来の愛らしさを僅かに残しながら，スタイリッシュさに加えて，ほんのりとエレガンスさを漂わせる。この作品は，ペンや紙を使わず，単なるSNSの描画機能を使い指で描かれたという点は驚きであるとともに，制作活動の範囲に拘ることがない作者らしさが表れている。50音＋4種。
